The Hustler

I was behind this cab at a red light this morning when I noticed it was the 555 taxi. That's the guy who came over with Paul Hinton from Clearwater Yellow. I also think he drove for Bats taxi.

He told me he made $250 a day no matter what time of year it was. He said he had been driving seven years and was the best taxi driver there was. Lets do the math.

With lease being $102 a day, and gas at $4 a gallon, you would need to drive 200 miles a day (100 being metered) to cover expenses. You would then need to drive 250 miles (125 metered) to make that. That would be to Miami and back each day. Not possible.

You certainly won't do that hanging around Westshore and Kennedy empty at 5:30 in the morning.
